Hi All,
I watched Kenneth Macmillan's Manon with Natalia Osipova, Carlos Acosta and Thiago Soares at the weekend. Gorgeous production! Nicholas Georgiadis' designs and sumptuous colours are a feast for the eyes!
Has anyone else seen it?

I am going to watch Zenaida Yanowsky and Roberto Bolle on Saturday night, can't wait. Although Bolle has been replaced for tomorrow nights performance by Matthew Golding due to a hand injury. I'm curious to see if he will make it back for Saturday!

Katyh, very interesting! I didn't realise this. Let us know what the outcome is. Hopfully Bolle will be back! Enjoy.

Hi Katyh, yes let's hope Bolle makes a quick recovery from his injury and you get to see him dance. I hope you enjoy the performance as much as I did!

I saw Osipova, Acosta & Soares two weeks ago and it was a stunning performance but so much going on. Especially Act 1. And I am lined up to see Bolle (cross fingers) on Saturday. The hand is a worry. Maybe some off our professional friends can cast a light on when it is usual to make a final decision to perform.

I have tickets for RB too that I sweated over getting on first day of booking period as I'm a complete and utter fan, here's hoping that injury will heal for Saturday night.  Manon is first ballet that I saw, started this ballet obsession off, it would be fitting for me to see Roberto Bolle doing it, don't know if I would have another chance.

Manon ROH 1Nov14 (34a).jpg

Manon was wonderful and definitely a sensation.  So many reasons to be awe struck, but Roberto's pas de deux with Yanowsky
in Act 1 was superb.  The audience won't let them continue.  Here is my sneaky pic with Acosta.
